What teaching has offered

It's the june holidays! So much for holidays huh? Been coughing & having block nose....more like sick leave....
After teaching for bout a year, it really change my mind on the kindergarten education. Never though that kindergarten teachers were not well respected especially in the past. Well though times are changing, but there are some which look at it like a nanny job.

Haha...it's not totally untrue but i can say that this job is not for everyone....
Firstly, you need to have lots of love, not only to those cute ones but to every child that comes into your care.

Everyone likes to be loved, the more it is for younger children
they can sense your mood and sincerity. Never try to kid a child about emotions, once betrayed it is difficult to gain that trust again.

However, it is this sensitivity to emotions that remind me of what the adults lack or i should say a skill forgotten. This job helps me to appreciate things around, look at it in different angle. Now even things that are junk have value!

Secondly, patience....
Do you know children also get frustrated when their point is not put across
Never ever dimiss a child's opinon because every encouragement given can build the child's esteem and confidence; one simple sentence may lead to future leaders indeed.

adult is never always right, adults miss the little details that children see
They are natural keen observers because that's how they learn!
I envy that greatly...adults overwork and become dull!

Going to work is tiring....I love when holidays come but the children are also motivation to go to work. to see them laugh, sing and enjoying their company. Makes me really really wanna to have my own children.
