Crusade Camp 24-26 July 2007!!

The theme of the camp is:

The Truth That Shines

Yeah! I'm Back after like 4 days 3 nights of work...haha...n fun off course!

Admin Staff really arent easy....first there were like not enough rooms... haha...somemore i group wrongly...2 pairs of pple...end up having gal with guy...so funni & frustrating....

Then end up got 2 extra rooms instead!....Amazing....how this camp, although a short one, has come to an end...haha...endless days of chasing for camp fee...allocating rooms... Only have 4-5hrs of sleep everyday!!!...

But it's amazing how God works in this camp...the weather is good like for tat 2 impt days we had games!!! The rest of the days of the week was like raining...haha...N how we got the function hall & music room is amazing too... is like we nearly couldnt get it.... the speakers for the workshop tat we have too.... God's timing is like jus right...for bringing someone who suspose to go for surgery...she got healed without surgery so she manged to make it!!

Most importantly... We prayed for 30 freshman & we managed to get 45+/- freshies!!! It's not an easy number to get for a 'religon' registered CCA... But that's not the point...haha...main point is God is good! He really bless us...especially for a main comm without experience....How we could jus screw up....LOL...

Yeah, i learnt alot from the workshops too...bout the grey areas in life.... like sexual issues/dating/Homosexuality/Cheating/Dietin/many more unexpected de..... How to apply the Word.../Time mangement....

And got to noe a place near sch which sells nice roti prata!! went there with my group like 12+am...Get to noe more crusaders & freshie too!!! I like my grp....got fun ppl... haha...

The Cute Wanted Sheep is drawn by one of my grp mate...Haha... Cute hor...is like the pirates version of the Sheep... haha...The wooden card used to draw the sheep is bought by my grp leader...can draw our own stuff...haha...so sweet...he brought the colourin materials also...
I also drew a sheep...but ugly leh!! the head like turtle...LOL...

SM leaders Meeting!!

WoW is the word! 2 days 1 night of leaders training....workshop & fellowship.... it's amazing!
Honestly, didnt quite feel like going de...but managed to drag myself all the way to tampines interchange...siao loh...have to go myself n carry the sleepin bag...haha....

By God's grace i met other crusaders on the bus (i think god noes how blur i am sia...if not i dunnoe wad will become of me man! )As usual, with poor sense of direction, i was quite nervous when takin the bus...also dunnoe isst correct...haha...but got other crusaders also...so not so kan jiong....the ride is long man...pass by changi prison sia...so big( n you wonder why i tot i got on the wrong bus...haha) & it's startin to rain...arh!

The group of us drop at a ulu bus stop!! nearly walk in the wrong direction...haha...with god's blessin...one crusade staff happen to appear at the bus stop (haha...i didnt realise his presence)... yeah! & we hope onto his van...fits our grp size perfectly :)

The place is at a bungalow chalet...Super big loh...REALLY BIG...never see such a big place... is like can fit a family with 4 generations....7 toliets + 6 rooms...double story...wah...& 2 bbq pits... Big Big...haha...maybe too used to stayin in HDB...is like 2 time bigger than my house...wah!

But hor...haha...the toilet hor!...the windows is transparent one leh!...n veri big, smack right in the middle..haha...must hang towel over to cover it!!!...the toliet so big...like...dunnoe why need so much space for it...it's like the size of my room...

After all the amazement...settled down...now facin another prob...it's like out of 20plus ppl...i only noe like 5 to 6 ppl...haha....scary sia!!! But everyone is veri nice...n the ice breaker games help me to get to noe so much more ppl :)

Hours of training...n sittin on the hard floor!! my butt is flat liao after 2 days...haha...
The aircon was super cold at night...16 degrees! irony nobody bother to turn it up or say it's cold till morning...haha...everyone was wrap up in their sleepin bag/blanket....

The 2nd night...dinner was BBQ...a lot of things to eat...but the food is slow to cook...so in the end...is like 10 ppl snatchin food from 1 plate...haha... first time bbq...the food is gone instantly once its cook! somemore is 2 pits...

N so glad my SM(spiritual multiplier) came...i tot no one from my DG (disciple group) will come... though she is quite soft spoken...but she veri nice & a prayer warrior :)

The going back is also filled with unexpectancy...haha...at first tot have to walk all the way to the bus stop...like not veri near...main pt is...i dunnoe where is it...haha....in the end manage to get the crusade staff the sent us out by the van :)

But i didnt take train home...haha...took i bus...969... a crusader brought me to take de... i didnt noe got tat bus...hai...so i jus follow blindly also....so i tot maybe take to causeway... then in the end i drop of at admiralty mrt...(i didnt noe the bus will pass by admiralty) haha...so walk home instead since it is only 10.30pm... okie it's a adventure of me...so blur throughout the 2 days :)

I learnt many things in the short training camp...lettin go of insecurities...made me realise how much inadequacy i have...but i have a God which i can lean on! And many things in the process of plannin for the camp & other evangelistic events...how obstactle tat jus enter n make us feel lost...but we manage to solve the probs...not by own strength...at least this is wad i felt... manage to get the halls even after exceedin the dateline for payment of accomodation...extention of the date for packin the flyers... which allow us to finish printin the flyers in time for packin... dun think it's all chance...how many chances in life can you have? Many prayed n but god's grace, things got worked out...I am really thankful n great for this f.o.c...it's an amazin experience :)

Another happy thingy :) Made a veri good friend too :).... she is in my course de!! & wad's best? Haha...her name is Gladys...same name as my sis...hehe...dun even need to memorise her name!!!

Reading everyone's post on ASG Meetin

Haha...not slpin yet...crawling around AH Siaosss blogs... saw various entries about the same day... haha...it's interestin to get different perspective...though is the same event... Me??
So sad didnt bring my cam...why??? haha...there was much anticipation + excitment= sun 15/7
When i first step in the KTV room...Wow...are we really going to have a general meetin? Big, grand, basement room....

So happy everyone could go...from desperately trying to get ppl to sing song...playing with cake... slappin hands game(didnt get to play) but is amazin how loud the screams can get (cannot hear wad i singin le) haha...to the 24/7 laughin session at LJS....It was fun :)

Thank You All Ah Siaos for givin me precious memorises all these years!!! Your company is special to me... each n everyone of you :)

Dentist + Tailor? Wad a weird combi

Haha...fillings....many many....still got 4 more teeth to go!!! Away bad tooth!

so hungry. + happily took the bus in the wrong direction.... oh no!
The 3 shua ku finally bought BK for dinner at city hall...got Fish!!!
This time took the correct bus....wad is the best? Is the same bus driver !!!!
We too slow poke liao...the bus go one round from int le... impossible!!
But the driver veri friendly :) told us tat is the correct bus....
Haha....amazing....so the 3 shua Ku, luckily never miss stop n arrived + waving good bye to driver... haha...it was fun.... like tourist sia....sittin in a bus tourin round about from city hall to orchard....haha...

The tailor veri nice too...tell us alot of stufff....choosin the right gown :)

Wedding Again!!!

7/7/07---- Thou is Meow Meow's birthday but i can't go for his dinner celebration....hai... sad.... but anyway i had good food also :) Shark fin in crab roe which look like curry...opps :) Yupz... another cousin getting married...haha...the ballroom not veri big...but met many 长辈 tat i didnt or seldom see....haha...n got to talk to my other cousin...which is erm...older than me (sensitive to age when one gets older)... about her friends all becomin married except her... end up having only gatherin in homes (kids sia) haha....next time will ah siao gang also like tat....haha... thuo we also always go ky's house play mahjong....

Getting married veri got a lot of things to do sia....i think like more stress than excitment? Well tat was wad i saw lah....hmmm...but is fun going to weddings n observin ppl :)


Coolest think of that day? : screaming 10 different languages of I LOVE YOU from the first floor to the 2nd...haha...not me lah... the groom :)
